The panel is composed of top-flight opera singers, as well as impresarios, conductors or opera directors, thus offering the candidates the opportunity to be heard by personalities who could play a role in their future careers.

The members of the panel are participating free of charge, out of interest in the Contest and friendship for the family of Marcello Viotti who was not satisfied with simply directing the greatest artists on the most prestigious stages but who also cared about discovering and developing young talent.
