After a brilliant higher education, culminating in his obtaining a doctorate in law, Germinal Hilbert started his own promotion agency with a view to placing the stars of opera on an international stage. With the name Opera and Concert his agency is now one of the most presitgious in the field of opera. Big names such as Karl Böhm, Birgit Nilsson and Leonie Rysanek were some of his first clients. A high level support and an excellent reputation enabled the young impresario to extend his network of activies. In 1976 Germinal Hilbert opened a new agency in Munich, Germany under the name Theateragentur Germinal Hilbert. Surrounded by a team of highly select individuals, the impessario now enables acclaimed talents of opera to perform the world over.

The two agencies accompany the careers of a great many artists of international renoun including sopranos, mezzosopranos, tenors and bass, vocal duos, accompanied singers, conducters and stage directors.
